FROM NEW ZEALAND TO JAPAN: I AM TRAVELLING AGAIN

I know, I know, it´s been a few weeks since I added a post. Sorry for that. But nothing really important or interesting happened. We spent most of the time in our village going for (still the same) walks and a few days in Wanaka where mum tried (with no success) to sell her car... wait, why was she selling her car?

Because we are setting off for travels again! It was getting colder and colder last few weeks and then when we were coming back to Mount Cook one day we got stuck for an hour in the freezing car because there were two centimeters of snow and people went crazy and started to go off the road. Then mum decided it wouldn´t be a good idea for us to stay in New Zealand for winter. At least until I start skiing which will be pretty soon considering no one is keener on starting to walk soon than me. Maybe in the European winter season we will hit the slopes :-).
So here we are, in Tokyo, the huge capital of Japan where my auntie lives.
Dad drove us to Christchurch yesterday, then mum woke me up at 3 am and at 6 we were boarding our first flight to Auckland. There we changed planes and spent another 11 hours on a big aircraft. I got my bed again (pretty standard now) and my favourite sheep was with me, which was cool. But this time – God! – it was so much more boring than the last time when we were flying to New Zealand. There were so many exciting things going on around and obviously I am not a big fan of sleeping, lying down or sitting anymore. I wanted to explore... which I was not allowed :-(. The plane food was good though – smoked salmon, fruit... I even got to taste strawberry yoghurt – mum must have been really desperate and I made the most of it.
At 5 pm we landed in Narita and suddenly everybody looked so different. I noticed on the plane already that people had different eyes and black hair but at the airport it became evident we appeared in a completely different world.
Two more super boring hours on the bus and there she was – my favourite (the only one, actually :-)) auntie waiting for me at the Kawagoe station. Three more minutes of walking and there was her apartment. What it looks like I don´t know yet. It´s been a long day and I am going to sleep now. I am on the other (the northern) hemisphere again and I am going to explore it tomorrow.
おやすみなさい (Good night), Your Annie
